TextPad is a standard source code editor, and while by no means groundbreaking or innovative, it performs its intended function sufficiently. The utility supports all the major programming languages, including Java, C++ and HTML, and is not difficult to get to grips with thanks to the intuitive user interface design. TextPad may be a lightweight source code editor but it is still a great programming application with good macros for color highlighting and a few small tools to help make tasks easier. There really can be no complaints about TextPad. It is small but very effective and comes with a high recommendation.
