For outstanding multimedia image editing, it is best to download the Excellink application. It is an ARX application used in AutoCAD, exporting it into an Excel spreadsheet. Once of the many uses of Excellink is taking your 3D and 2D applications and converting them into a file that will be used in many detailed, technical Excel spreadsheets. Excellink is pretty easy to use if you are familiar with the ARX format, but for everyone else, this is not the download for them.

EXCELLINK 2010 is an ARX application for AutoCAD 2010 - 32/64-bit (plus a separate version for 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005 and 2004, incl. Architecture, Mechanical, Map, Civil). It allows to bi-directionally hot link attribute and geometrical block data (insertion point, scale, rotation..) between an AutoCAD drawing and an Excel 97/2000/XP/2003 sheet. Block properties can be driven from Excel. For room schedules, BOMs, lists, computed attributes, etc.
A separate version for AutoCAD LT is available.
