I am skeptical of IE Accelerator. It claims to vastly improve downloads and browsing speeds. I tested IE Accelerator for an hour or so and I noticed absolutely no improvement at all. This was on a DSL connection but there can be no excuses as IE Accelerator has a selection from modem to Cable speeds, so all should be supported. IE Accelerator seems like vaporware to me.

IE Accelerator is a download accelerator for Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Instead of optimizing serveral keys in the registry, IE Accelerator increases the simultaneous connections of each IE windows.

So the browsing and downloading speed is boosted by a large amount.
